Hi there!
I’m Andrea, a Mancunian obsessed with baking and decorating cakes!
I started baking after I had my son in 2003, inspired by Nigella Lawson and her book “How to be a domestic goddess”. Since then I must have baked a cake a week! Over the last 2 years I have attended 2 evening class courses in cake decoration and my baking obsession is truly here to stay!
My day job is as a clothing designer, and i try to use the skills I have learnt in my profession within my baking projects, so creating artwork for printed sugarpaste sheets is a favourite technique. I love trying out new ideas and recipes, and pushing the boundaries of what can be done with cake decoration.
